Project Quicklist:

Welcome to my corner of the web!

Latest News!: October 30th, 2010

Its here!

After long months of development, I'm proud to announce the release of my newly engineered, easier to use website! You won't see a big change in the layout, but you should see much better photos and WAY, WAY, WAY more updates from now on!

There will be a few new projects in the roster that you haven't seen before! Check out my Engel Typhoon build, my Nautascooter Project, my German Seehund submarine, and keep on the lookout for a static buildup of an OTW Type VII coming very soon!

Thanks for your patience!

This website is dedicated to the hobby of Remote Controlled Submarines and submarine modelling. Within its pages, you will find writeups and photos of various projects that I have completed, am working on, or plan to complete in the future.

I was born in 1976 in Edmonton, Alberta. I moved to Victoria, BC in 2002, a place that I still consider home in many ways. In 2008 my family and I moved to Naples, Florida, where I now reside. I have a wonderful wife, a stupendous son, and two cats that often help me with my builds by reorganizing my small parts for me... often... without encouragement necessary.

My own tastes in subjects varies widely, ranging from a select list of modern military submarines such as the Russian Typhoon or the Canadian Victoria Class, to the crazy fantasy submarines such as the Nautilus from Disney's 1954 movie or the latest League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

From time to time you may see a reference to my "Customer". From time to time I do take on projects for other people, however I try to limit these projects as much as possible so that I can concentrate on my own work and interests. If you're interested in me taking on a project for you, by all means pop me an email! If I can't take it on, I may know of someone who can do a great job for you.

I always welcome emails and photos from other people with questions or updates on their own projects. Please feel free to contact me at any time at

Thanks a lot for visiting!

Best regards,

Bob Martin
