This model was one that I managed to find out of New Jersey with my newly acquired USOS Seaview model.
It has had the first steps taken to convert it to R/C operation by the previous owner and for all intents and purposes he did a good job. The hull is in perfect shape and shouldn't take much to get finished up. The mating of the deck lid to the hull will be a bit of a challenge, however it should be fairly straightforward.

This model, unfortunately, has the hull split in the upper hull, which means that it will be visible during display if not during operation as an R/C boat. Once I address that hull split more thoroughly I don't think it will be an issue and it will certainly look better than what you see in the photos below.
The propeller has been installed already which means I don't really have the option of performing my traditional gimbaled propeller, however I still may venture down that path if I can manage it.
Until I get to working on it in earnest, enjoy these photos of this rare submarine!

This particular sub has found its way to a new home. Good luck to the new owner in getting it completed and in the water!
